A day trip to Sapporo Teine

Every season we take our instructor training crew to another resort for a day of exploration and adventure. This year we decided to role it in with a trip to the Sapporo Snow Festival and a night out in the Susikino nightlife district of Hokkaido’s capital city.

Sapporo Teine is a very fun little ski resort only 30mins from the centre of Sapporo. As one of the hosting resorts for the Sapporo Winter Olympics held back in the 70s, the terrain here is much more challenging than one might think would be found at a ski resort so close to the city of this size.

The best stuff is found up high, in the Teine Highlands area, in what’s known by locals as the Antenna Farm.
